Willy's Boys (Staged Reading)

We are seeking an actor for a staged reading of Willy's Boys, a new full-length comedy set amongst Shakespeare's acting company, to be performed on May 3rd, 2010. The rehearsal schedule is flexible except for a mandatpry rehearsal on May 2nd. The available role is:

RICHARD BURBAGE: Male 42, looks older. Shakespeare's greatest actor, impressively voiced, handsome and charismatic and he knows it. Egotistical, rakish, an aging matinee idol. Facility with Elizabethan verse and prose is a must.

Auditions are by appointment only and sides will be provided in advance.

Seeing union and non-union.

This will be an Equity Staged Reading (pending approval).
